Pinot Noir Monte Ferrato
RED TUSCAN IGT
Obtained from the vineyards at the foot of Monte Ferrato which were originally the protagonists of the error by the nurseryman where, in 2011, the vineyards were replanted with clones 113 and 114.
Terrain: Clayey and rich in iron.
Harvest: Manual harvesting with crates.
Vinification : Destemming and soft pressing. The racking takes place after the alcoholic fermentation in steel.
Refinement: French oak barriques of 3rd and 4th passage for 12 months and subsequent bottling.
TASTING NOTES:
Color: Ruby red with youthful reflections.
Perfumes: It opens with fresh fruit cherry, berries, mulberry, strawberry; it is enriched with hints of moss and a smoky hint.
Taste: The immediate and fresh sip unfolds in a satisfying progression, savoury nuances and a redcurrant finish.
